It is with sorrowful and heavy hearts that we announce our beloved Aurora, passed away on Sunday May 8th, 2022, surrounded with family by her side. A loving wife of 44 years to Avelino, a nurturing mother to Arjan (Sheryl) and Auravel (Jay), a proud grandmother to Eujuan Jamie, Josmen Jean and Maria Avera, who adored their “Momsy” very much, and daughter of the late Eustaquio and Josefa Valera. She was predeceased by her brothers, Virginio and Boy, and leaves behind two sisters and two brothers. She was born in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1991. An expert caregiver, having worked as a nanny, and a personal support worker for the majority of her career. Our beloved “Lal” was adventurous, loved to travel and try new foods, had a great sense of fashion, and enjoyed comedy. Her kindness, intelligence, generosity, beauty, humour, courage and resilience will live on in our hearts and memories. We love you very much “Lal” “Mom” “Momsy”
