Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Carleton Lodge on April 6, 2019. Predeceased by her loving husband Frank (1969), brother Frank Xavier, sisters Margarita Sakovitch and Agnes Thorbes. Half-Brother Carlos Xavier (deceased), Half-sisters Eleanor Xavier and Noreen Reisinger (Deceased)(Dietrich). Survived by her loving children Dave (Tammy), Trevor (Jane), Donna (Jean-Marc) Errol (Suzanne) and Keith (June). Much loved Grandma to Alana Covey (Matt), Jason Roza (Julie), Tiffany Roza, Amanda Ferrone, Alicia Roza (James), Ashton Roza, Natalie Roza. Great Grandma to nine great grandchildren, Hayden, Anthony, Samantha, Laurel, Claire, Maya, Ethan, Will, Griffin. Daphne had the strength and fortitude to move her family from Georgetown, Guyana (British Guiana) to Canada after her husband passed in 1969. She had many "sayings of wisdom" inherited from her Grandmother,
"IN EVERYTHING, AFTER A TIME, THERE IS ANOTHER TIME"
Rest in Peace, you are in another time.
The family would like to thank the staff - nurses, PSW's, Volunteers and Doctors - of Carleton Lodge (Rideau) for their exceptional love and care over the past eight years. A private funeral and internment ceremony will be held at Hope Cemetery Thursday, April 11th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
