ERMITA ODESSA PETRELLA (nee Di Cesare)

Peacefully at Villa Marconi on August 29,2023

Pre-deceased by loving husband Umberto Salvatore Petrella.

 Loving mother to Sergio,(Dawn) and Domenic, (Tina).

 Proud nonna to Nadia (Kelvin) , Amanda (Leonardo), Jason (Jessica), and Nicholas (Allicia).

Great grandmother to Dante, Delilah and Jaxon.  

Mother's sense of humour, laughter, generosity and especially her homemade pasta and pizza will be missed by all.

We will miss her singing of her favourite Italian classical songs, in particular, O Sole Mio, L'italiano, Ave Maria, with the occasional "Don't Worry Be Happy" thrown in for good measure.  

Special thanks to the staff at Villa Marconi during our mother's final days, and to the staff at the Park Place residence. Warm memories of friends and staff of the City View Retirement Community, our mother's home for the last 7 years.

As per our mother's wish, a private service will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery on September 1, 2023.
