Hildegarde Soliman

It is with a saddened heart that we announce the passing of Hildegarde Alzate-Soliman on August 7, 2022, at the age of 57.

She was born in Manila, Philippines on November 25, 1964.  An alumna of St. Paul College in Vigan, Ilocos Sur for secondary education and majored in BS Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Santo Tomas in 1984.  She immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 2003.

She is survived by her spouse Danny Boy and siblings Ted, Guia, Lito, Raymund, Marirose, Vicen, and Mia. Hildegarde was pre-deceased by her parents Dr. Manuel Sayo Alzate  and Hilda Donato Alzate.

She was a great aunt to her nephews and nieces and a friend to her colleagues. She is a well-loved member of the Catholic Living Word Prayer Community in the Philippines.

Hildegarde and Danny have been married since December 12, 1998. They love to do outdoor activities, travel, spend time together, and go on dates.

Hildegarde will be missed and fondly remembered, with her loving personality, she has touched many hearts and will be recalled for her love of togetherness, enjoying family time, and her generous heart.

Flowers are a beautiful tradition and signify a greatly appreciated expression of love, comfort, and sympathy. However, instead of flowers, we would gladly appreciate supporting the widower of Hildegarde by contributing to this GoFundMe page.

Family and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life on August 17, 2022, at Forest Lawn Mausoleum & Cremation Centre at 4570 Yonge St. North York, Ontario M2N 5L6. The visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm. The memorial service will be the following day August 18, 2022, at 9:30 am at St. Paschal Baylon Church at 92 Steeles Ave. West Thornhill, Ontario L4J 1A1. We advise wearing a mask at this time for everyone's safety.
