Jennifer Anne (Jones) Trebilcock

Jenny died peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the age of 82. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Arthur; by her children, Kathleen and Sarah; by her grandchildren, Grace and AJ; by her brother and sister, Roger Jones and Katherin Jones-Sentner; and by Katherin’s two sons, David and Cristopher. Born in 1941 at Widnes, England, Jenny immigrated with her parents and siblings to Montréal, Quebec in 1953. In the following year the family moved to Toronto, Ontario, where Jenny attended The Bishop Strachan School and then University of Toronto, graduating in 1964 with a B.Sc. in General Science. Upon graduating, Jenny joined William. M. Mercer Limited, working at their Toronto offices in the Pension Administration, EDP and Actuarial Departments until she retired in 1977 to devote herself full time to her family. Jenny greatly enjoyed travelling, golfing, gardening, collecting cookbooks, and playing duplicate bridge with her husband Arthur and her many wonderful friends. Jenny especially enjoyed the many fun-filled Summers spent with her family at their cottage on Muldrew Lake in Muskoka. A celebration of Jenny’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
