Louis Prud'Homme

It’s with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Louis who passed peacefully on  August 14, 2023 at 83 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 58 years to late Laurette Prud’Homme (Mayer).  Loving father of Nicole Hill, Guy Prud’Homme and Sylvie Prud’Homme.  Proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren Mathew (Maria) , Melanie (Nathan) , Ghislain, Roxanne (James), Natasha and one great granddaughter  Hazel.  Son of the late Hormidas and Noëlla Prud’Homme (Drouin). Deeply missed by his sister Rachelle Carrière (late Adrien),  and brothers Paul Prud’Homme (Eunice) Gilles Prud’Homme.  Predeceased by his siblings Gisèle Piché (late Hector), Rémi Prud’Homme (late Marcelle), Cécile Gauthier (late Jean-Marie), Jean Prud’Homme (late Marla) Madeleine Pilon and Roch.  Louis will be fondly remembered by his friends, neighbours and his former customers at Bertrand and Cumberland Ready Mix. The religious service will be held Saturday September 9th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Viateur church , 154 Mabel Rd Limoges, On .  After the service, condolences and a small lunch will be held at The Limoges Community Centre, 205 Limoges Rd.  A private interment will be held at a later date.

The family thanks Dr. Olivier Lemay  and the Palliative Care team for the exceptional care and support during this very difficult time.

There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family and friends.  If you needed him, you could guarantee that he would be there.  Louis will especially be remembered for his sense of humor. He enjoyed family, friends, golfing, BBQing, singing and playing the guitar, restoring old cars, Rving, and travelling. He was also quite the handy man. He could fix anything.
