Neil Gerrard Sampson

Sampson, Neil Gerrard at Lakeridge Hospital, Oshawa took his last breath surrounded by his loved ones.

Neil of Oshawa was in his 54th year. Son of Brenda Gardiner and the late Neil Sampson Sr. Missed and loved with all her heart by Jayne Daniels. Father of Haley Miles. Dear brother to Nelson Sampson (Jocelyn), Scott MacGillvary (Christene) and Roberta Sampson. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Kerian, Erin, Connor, Michael, Christen, Jonel and Abbey. 

Neil will always be remembered for his love and passion for hockey.  He leaves a huge hole in the ball hockey community where he was able to meet great people who became his family. Neil loved the Toronto Maple Leafs! They have definitely gained an angel to guide them to win the Stanley cup in 2023/2024 season! 

Neil was taken way too early from us and his family and friends will miss him tremendously. 

We are gathering together to celebrate Neil’s life on June 4, 2023 at St. John’s Crematory Magnolia Room, 737  Dundas St E, Mississauga, Ontario from 2 to 4pm. 

Family is asking that any donations be give to Canadian Diabetic Association.
