Peter Todd

The world lost a special person on August 2nd, 2021. Someone with interesting stories, a knowledge of the world, a musical talent, and a kind heart.

Peter Todd was a self taught musician. He was also a country singer and an amazing poet. He knew so many different facts about the world. He loved Bloomberg Magazine & National Geographic. He never turned away a topic for fear of the unknown. He loved to research, and he loved to read. He also loved his family and his family loved him. He adored animals, and often spent time with his doggies, and recounting the past where he cared for his horses on the farm.

Peter loved to play the fiddle, and despite his physical challenges was willing to try to play it for his grand-daughter Anastasia. She was always mesmerized when he would try and play her a song.

Peter loved Costa Rica. One of his most memorable vacations was with his wife Jill, when they went exploring Costa Rica together. A day never went by, where he forgot to tell her how much he loved her, and how beautiful she was. A day also never went by without praising his step daughter for her talents.

He had many wonderful friends in his life, and he inspired many throughout his years as an Elder in the congregation. Peter loved Jehovah and had a strong, never wavering faith in the promise God made to make the world new, and to ensure that one day, no resident would say “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24).

The last few years had been hard for Peter physically, but his family stayed close and never left his side.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, grand-daughter, two fur babies, his sister Verna and husband Gavin, his sister Elsie and husband Peter, and other family members all of whom will remember him with fond memories.
