In Loving Memory of

Rhonda Alice Johnston Inch

March 30, 1947 ~ February 25, 2020.

Rhonda Alice Inch (Johnston) passed peacefully at RVH Barrie, with her devoted, loving, best friend/husband Earl, while holding her hand on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.

Born in Orillia, ON, on March 30, 1947. Parents: John Johnston and Rhoda Johnston (Smith); Sister to (late) Jo-Anne (Lorne) Hotton and Candace (Bob) Shaw of Orillia.

Full of sweetness, joy and peace. Marriage is a gift from above while years fly by, none can deny. That only time strengthens true love to Earl Henry Inch June 5th, 1965 ~ 55th year.

Rhonda was a in her 73rd young year! She was a beautiful, strong, determined, hardworking, full of life, independent woman. A Graduate of Toronto School of Business and many other Management courses. Rhonda was an enthusiastic, modern businesswoman and entrepreneur. She participated on Board of Directors and the City Council of Orillia. Over 45 years as a Type 1 Diabetic, hockey Mom, groupie to Earls' bands. Saying grace before each meal and prayers before bed. Rhonda was always on the go; her independence was in driving, going where and when she wanted to. She enjoyed having coffee at the park, in the early mornings, whether it was Orillia or Barrie. She always enjoyed Mickey and Mini Mouse and keeping up with the times, being “Hip”; fist-pumping in the car. A way of staying connected was through Facebook. Every so often we can still hear her laughter from the posts, jokes, and videos. She loved seeing all the photos of family and listening to music. Mom gave joy to all family celebrations, holidays, making her tours to each one of us. It was very important to Rhonda for the family to stay in touch, and together. Family always came first. Every day she would be talking to or about or asking about someone. Always making sure everyone was thought of and included. Like our neighbours of 8 years, with their daughter including her in all the holidays and her birthday. Rhonda was a dear friend, confidant, supporter, with openness and no judgments to anyone. As Mom would say, “Love You! Bye-Bye for now!” with a smile and happy heart.

Always with unconditional love to her beloved children: Shane and Jennifer of Barrie, Jason (Kimberley Kavanagh-Beaverton) of Orillia, Chantel of Barrie and Judy (Lee Ayres) Croft of Udney.

Loving and supportive Grandma to David Edward (Melissa) Middlebrook of Bracebridge, Shayna (Mitch Heron) Inch of Barrie, Jessee-Lee Inch of Barrie, Joshua Inch of Orillia, Twins – Mathew and Devan Kavanagh of Beaverton, Alyssa (Luke Kinsley) Inch of Barrie, Ian Inch of Barrie, Michael (Kayla) Croft of Uxbridge, meeting and holding Westley Croft in heaven.

Cherished Great Grandma, “GG”, to Owen and Clark Middlebrook, Brycen and Aaliyah Heron, Wade Inch, Nathan (Nate) and Jorja (Jorjie) Croft.
