In Celebration of

RUSSELL (ROCKY) ERIC MOULTON

February 1, 1952 – January 8, 2021

With deep sadness the Moulton family announces the passing of Russell (Rocky) Moulton on Friday, January 8, 2021.  Rocky will be remembered for his sense of humour, his commitment to family and his love of fishing and sports.  He always brought a joke to the party and anyone who knew him has fond memories of shared laughter.  Rocky loved driving – he was a transport driver for over 47 years and once retired was always keen to go on a road trip with his family.  Although Rocky was a long-time fan of the Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays, what brought him the most joy was cheering on his grandchildren at their sports activities.  Rocky loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Bonnie-Jean, to whom he was married for almost 49 years, his daughter Shawna-Leigh (Terry McLaughlin) and the grandchildren that he was so proud of: Brynne, Walker, Brayden, Taylor and Kiernen.   Rocky will also be deeply missed by his siblings Linda Blanchard (Mike), Chris Poirier, Ron (Marie), Debbie Cress (Rick) and Art (Sherry), as well as his sister-in-law Cheryl Brown (Curtis) and brother-in-law Paul Blagdon (Cindy).  Rocky will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cherished friends.  He always considered his friends to be a part of his family.

Rocky is predeceased by his son, Troy, his parents, Russell Norris Moulton and Loreen Janet Homer, his father-in-law Walter Cyrus Blagdon, his mother-in-law Florence Gwendolyn Crawford and his brother-in-law Joe Poirier.

The family would like to thank Dr. Vik, the staff of the Mississauga Halton Health Integration Network and CarePartners for the kindness and support they have provided.

In light of the current situation, no funeral service will be held at this time.  A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association (www.lung.ca).
