It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William Joseph (Bill) Condon. He passed away while in the care of the Chartwell Brant Centre Long Term Care Residence due to complications related to Frontotemporal Dementia in the wee hours of Monday, January 4th.
He will be missed by his wife, Isobel, and children Linda (Ian), Ann (Patrick), Michael (Maribeth) and Jennifer (Chris), as well as his grandchildren Garron, Calum, Maeve, Kinley, and Conor. He will also be dearly missed by his siblings Tom (Patsy), John (Geraldine), Paul (Deirdre), and Kate (Bill), along with nieces and nephews and a large family in Ireland.
Predeceased by his brother, Larry (Barbara), and sisters, Anne (Gord) and Maureen (Paddy).
Bill loved telling a good joke (or not-so-good joke), a good cuppa, had a passion for reading and history, and loved his “old time rock and roll”. He was best known for his kind heart.
In accordance with his wishes, no funeral services are planned, but please feel free to share a fond memory, story, or picture of Bill on the Tribute Wall.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hope for Dementia.
